XGen now offers a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation service, providing the capability to customize LNPs with various fluorescent labels, such as Cy5, FITC, and DiR, for tracking cellular uptake and biodistribution.
LNPs are a well-established delivery system for RNA-based therapeutics. The lipid components of LNPs facilitate fusion with cell membranes, enabling the encapsulated RNA to enter cells and achieve therapeutic efficacy. Additionally, LNPs protect RNA from enzymatic degradation, improving stability and bioavailability.
